Uniform and Apparel Solutions (UAS) is a subsidiary of Fashion Biz (Aust) Pty Ltd, which is Australia’s second-largest manufacturer and wholesaler of off-the-shelf clothing specifically designed for the world of work. Fashion Biz has four clothing brand collections – Biz Collection, Biz Corporates, Syzmik, and Biz Care – which contain 700 styles covering more than 30,000 SKUs (by colour and size) of business/corporate, uniform, and workwear items for men and women on a size bell that ranges from XS to 7XL. 

Sectors covered include corporate, construction, utilities, retail, hospitality, aged care, health, transport, rail, trades, education, teams, event promotion, beauty and spa, veterinary, dentistry, allied health, and more. Clothing items manufactured include suiting, pants, skirts, dresses, polos, t-shirts, shirts, knitwear, jackets, blazers, vests, hoodies and fleece, activewear, high-vis, overalls, aprons, scrubs, lab coats, tunics, culottes, shorts and accessories. 

Concept design process

UAS has its own internal concept and design team that can create customized one-off or very short-run items for customers that may be specific to their needs and outside the parameters of an off-the-shelf collection. 

Made-to-measure requirements

Our total apparel management solution offers both made-to-order and made-to-measure options.

The size range offered through our collections ranges from XS to 7XL. Made to order means that if you need a size outside the range offered for a particular garment, say XXS or 8XL+, we will make that size for you to order (place an order and we will make it).

We will offer a made-to-measure service for any staff member who falls outside the standard sizing bell; for example, someone who is unusually tall would not fit the standard sizing bell. We will take specific measurements from individuals who require made-to-measure clothing. The garment item/s they require will be made through our samples process, rather than our mass production process, to create that single unique item or set of items. 

We require 40-45 business days to fulfill made-to-measure orders.
